Life in the Fast Lane

It's not until you get off the track that you realize how slowly life moves. Behind the wheel you don't have time to think about the future or the past, you are forced to live in the true present. You don't have time to stop for a moment and breath.

One breath could be the difference between life and death on the track. One breath is the difference between life and death off of it.

I have never looked at the world so beautiful as I do the second I take that helmet off. Everything is so slow.

Racing makes you appreciate the present. It makes you enjoy every moment like it might be your last. Life goes by so quickly when you are moving slowly and taking the present for granted. Life goes by so slowly when you are moving fast because we are in the present.

I go fast so I can feel every second for a little longer.

I drive so I can live in the present because the present is the only place where I can see who I am.

The present holds no past, nor does it deceive you. The present holds your truest, most authentic identity.

I drive to find myself. To ask the only question that I can not answer when I am going slow.

Who am I?
